How to Use & Candle Safety
- First burn: Allow the wax to melt to the full edge on the first burn. This prevents tunnelling and ensures an even burn throughout the candle’s life.
- Trim the wick: Before each burn, trim the wick to approximately 5mm. This keeps the flame clean and steady and extends burn time.
- Burn time: Burn for no more than 4 hours at a time. Allow the candle to cool fully before relighting.
- Extinguishing: Use a candle snuffer or gently dip the wick into the melted wax. Avoid blowing out the candle as this can cause hot wax to splatter.
- Safety: Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from draughts, children, and pets. Place on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Stop burning when approximately 1cm of wax remains.
