Trim the wick Before each burn, trim the wick to approximately 5mm to ensure a clean, even flame and prevent excess smoke or soot.
First burn Allow the candle to burn until the entire surface has melted to the edges on the first use. This prevents tunnelling and ensures an even burn throughout the life of the candle.
Burn safely Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from draughts, children, and pets. Always place on a heat-resistant surface.
Burn time For best results, burn for no longer than 4 hours at a time to maintain the quality of the wax and fragrance throw.
Extinguish safely Use a candle snuffer rather than blowing out the flame to prevent hot wax from splattering and to preserve the fragrance.
Refill your vessel Once the candle has burned down, clean out any remaining wax with warm water and repurpose the beautiful gold vessel — or order a London fragrance refill to enjoy the scent all over again.
