Step 1 — First burn Allow the candle to burn until the entire surface has melted to the edges of the jar on the first use. This prevents tunnelling and ensures an even burn throughout the life of the candle.
Step 2 — Trim the wick Before every burn, trim the wick to 5mm. This prevents excessive flame height, sooting, and mushrooming, and extends the life of your candle.
Step 3 — Burn time Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time. Allow the candle to cool completely before relighting.
Step 4 — Extinguish safely Use a candle snuffer to extinguish the flame. Do not blow out — this can cause hot wax to splatter and may push the wick off-centre.
Step 5 — Storage Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve the fragrance and colour of the wax.
Safety Instructions Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from children and pets. Not suitable for children under 3. Keep away from flammable materials, draughts, and vibrations. Always burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Do not move a burning candle. Stop use when 10mm of wax remains. Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings and debris.
