HOW TO USE YOUR HAZEL GLOW CANDLE

Before First Use: Remove all packaging materials and place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, flammable materials, and out of reach of children and pets. Trim the wick to approximately 5mm (¼ inch) before lighting for the first time.

Lighting Your Candle: On the first burn, allow the wax to melt completely across the entire surface to the edges of the container. This creates an even "melt pool" and prevents tunneling, ensuring your candle burns evenly throughout its life. This typically takes 2-3 hours for our candles.

Wick Trimming: Before each use, trim the wick to 5mm (¼ inch) to ensure a clean, safe burn. This prevents excessive smoking, soot buildup, and keeps the flame at the optimal height. Use wick trimmers or scissors, and always trim when the wax is cool and solid.

Burn Time: Never burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Allow the candle to cool for at least 2 hours before relighting. This helps maintain the quality of the wax and fragrance.

Safety Guidelines:

• Never leave a burning candle unattended
• Keep away from children, pets, and flammable materials
• Place on a stable, heat-resistant surface
• Keep away from drafts, vents, and air currents
• Never move a burning candle or one with liquid wax
• Extinguish the candle if the flame becomes too high or flickers repeatedly
• Stop burning when 10mm (½ inch) of wax remains at the bottom
• Never use water to extinguish a candle
• Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches, or debris

Extinguishing Your Candle: Use a candle snuffer or gently blow out the flame. Avoid using the lid to extinguish as this can cause smoke and damage the container. Allow the candle to cool completely before moving or replacing the lid.

Care & Maintenance: Store your candle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve the fragrance and prevent discoloration. If the surface becomes dusty, gently wipe with a soft, dry cloth.

Decorative Elements: Our candles feature hand-arranged decorative succulents. These are designed to remain on the surface throughout the candle's life. If any decorative elements become loose, carefully remove them before lighting.
