For the days when sweetness isn’t quite your style, there is Étoile d’Or. Creamy gardenia and bright citrus meet a mossy, woody foundation in this chypre perfume oil, with a soft leather note giving the florals a beautifully tailored edge.
Huile Précieuse puts the pleasure of application at the centre of the experience. An alcohol-free spray, blended at Eau de Parfum strength in fractionated coconut oil, it can be smoothed across the arms and décolleté or applied sparingly to pulse points. A familiar fragrance, approached through a different daily gesture.
Flowers with a darker outline
Lemon and bergamot cut through the creamy fullness of gardenia and ylang-ylang. Rose, jasmine and lily of the valley gather at the heart, but this is no simple bouquet: oakmoss, patchouli and a leather accord bring contrast beneath the petals. Sandalwood, amber and musk round the composition without taking away its character.
There is something of a beautifully cut jacket about it. Slip it on before a gallery afternoon, a theatre evening or a perfectly ordinary Tuesday when you want to feel a little more yourself.

A chypre floral: citrus and generous florals are contrasted with mossy woods, patchouli and a soft leather note. It is a different direction from a vanilla-led gourmand.
Which notes will I notice?
The opening combines gardenia, lemon, bergamot and ylang-ylang. Rose, jasmine and lily of the valley form the floral centre, above amber, oakmoss, leather, patchouli, sandalwood and vegan musk.
Does the leather note mean it contains animal leather?
Leather describes an aspect of the scent, not an animal-derived ingredient. Étoile d’Or Huile Précieuse is vegan and cruelty-free.
How is this different from the Étoile d’Or Eau de Parfum?
This is the alcohol-free perfume-oil format, carried in fractionated coconut oil and applied by spraying and gently smoothing into the skin. It is blended at Eau de Parfum strength, but it has a different base from an alcohol-based perfume.
Is this the lighter body-oil mist?
No. Huile Précieuse is the Eau de Parfum-strength perfume oil, not Brume Précieuse Légère.
Can I wear it beyond my pulse points?
Yes. Apply a small amount to arms, legs or décolleté and smooth in gently, following your bottle’s directions. Let it absorb before dressing.
Is the formulation paraben-free?
Yes. It is paraben-free as well as vegan and cruelty-free.
Will my packaging match the photographs?
The inner card is handmade and its design varies between small production batches, so yours may look different from the card pictured.
Does alcohol-free mean suitable for every skin type?
No skin-suitability guarantee is implied. Check the ingredient list, follow the label precautions and stop using the product if irritation occurs.
Think polished florals rather than sugared petals. Gardenia and ylang-ylang have a creamy richness, sharpened by lemon and bergamot. Rose, jasmine and lily of the valley bring the bouquet into focus, while moss, patchouli and a supple leather impression lend a darker contrast. Amber, sandalwood and vegan musk soften the edges: composed, layered and distinctly chypre.

Make Étoile d’Or part of your dressing ritual: apply a small spray to pulse points, or to the arms, legs and décolleté, and gently spread the oil over the skin. Give it time to absorb before putting on clothes or jewellery. Keep the spray off fabrics and reapply when you wish.
Use externally only and follow the directions on your bottle. Keep away from the face and eyes, and do not apply to broken or irritated skin. Stop use if irritation develops.
