Is it vegan and cruelty-free? Yes, completely. The Balancing Glow Toner is 100% vegan, cruelty-free, and paraben-free. It's handmade in small batches in the UK by Hazel Glow.
Does it contain alcohol? No — this is an alcohol-free formula with no harsh alcohols or sulphates, making it gentle enough for daily use.
How do I use it? Apply to clean skin morning and evening using a cotton pad, or spritz directly onto your face as a refreshing mist. It can also be used as a makeup setting spray throughout the day.
What hydrolats are in the formula? The toner contains a triple hydrolat blend — geranium, chamomile, and tea tree. Hydrolats (also known as floral waters) are the pure botanical waters produced during steam distillation, making them a gentle and natural alternative to synthetic toners.
Does it have a scent? Yes — it has a fresh, natural botanical scent from the geranium, chamomile, and tea tree hydrolats, with a hint of calming lavender essential oil. No synthetic fragrances are added.
Is this suitable for sensitive skin? This toner is formulated primarily for oily and combination skin. If you have sensitive skin, we'd recommend our Gentle Glow Facial Toner with rose water and aloe vera instead. As with any new skincare product, a patch test before first use is always recommended.
